Apple iPad 2

Does anyone know when this will be released? I've seen lots of rumours on sites but nothing seems official!

I for one can't wait to get my hands on one, rather not get the iPad if the iPad 2 is coming out soon :j

very possible to be announced in feburary (mooted the 9th) which would mean a release of end of feb/ march time.

I'm waiting too! As a business user, I'll ask the business advisor in my local Apple Store tomorrow and see what he knows.

Thanks for the replies guys, I've heard the 9th Feb aswell for announcement date, but lots of places seem to think it will only be released in the US in April which would mean we'd only see it in May/June! (I can't wait that long! )

I'm in the same position: have decided to get an iPad (mainly for my wife to stop her hogging my desktop PC for Facebook!) but would rather wait and get an iPad2 and not the current iPad1...
