Vodafone: grrrrr!

@Jacflash - please keep us posted on how you get on, there are a lot of people on this forum keeping a very close eye on Vodafone at the moment.0

Heidi - I've just sent another email using the link you provided, and have a included a link to this thread in it. I made sure to put no spaces in "WRT135" in the subject line; hopefully it will reach the correct destination now.
pcal - you have my sympathies! I would vote with my feet and happily leave Vodafone after this experience, but unfortunately it is the only network with coverage in the area where I work, so have to stick with them. I think it's good that you have stopped the direct debit: yes, it's more expensive, but it stops them taking money from your account at will and making you jump through hoops to get it back!
CitySlicker - I will certainly keep you updated: knowledge is power, and this site and forum is a terrific resource for consumers. Talking to family/friends/colleagues about this, it is amazing how many people have their own Vodafone horror stories to tell. As someone else said, for a communications company they sure are poor at communicating.0 -
Heidi - just had confirmation of my email being sent - email number is 5731378.0

Thanks Heidi,
I got an email at 10.45 this morning from one of your colleagues in India, saying that they had checked my account and could see that £199.06 has been paid back into my bank account. The email asked me to check with my bank. I've looked at my account online and the refund is not there, but will call my bank in my lunch break and see if the funds are in the pipeline.0 -
Hi Jacflash,
That's great news! When a refund is applied it can take 3-5 days to be processed by the bank. If you need anything else then please do drop us an email.
I am very pleased to hear it's been resolved for you!
Take care,
Heidi
