What type of base is it going on?
How firm do you like your mattress?
What is your budget?0 -
I purchased one from TJ Hughes and I thought it was a good price considering it comes with 2 memory foam pillows too.

Does it tell you what the density of the memory foam is, as it is very important? It doesn't tell you on the site.0 -
I'm interested in buying one too,my bed has a slatted base and my current mattress is aching my back,i think it's too soft and doesn't give support.
Not sure on a budget(but not over 500 pounds) so any advice greatly appreciated.0 -

Well it doesn't mean much, apart from telling us that the memory foam is only 4cm deep. Ideally it should be 5cm, but it's only 1cm out.
What it doesn't tell us is the density of the memory foam.0 -

It looks like TJ Hughes have the descriptions mixed up on those mattresses.
This one is listed as 25cm depth with 4cm of memory foam:
http://www.tjhughes.co.uk/fcp/product/brands-for-less/Mattresses/Sleep-Design-Memory-Foam-Mattress/270
But on the sleep design website the 25cm model is listed with 7cm memory foam. It's also the more expensive model:
http://www.sleepdesign.co.uk/acatalog/mattress_all.html
On TJ Hughes the 20cm model says it has 7cm memory foam:
http://www.tjhughes.co.uk/fcp/product/brands-for-less/Mattresses/Sleep-Design-Excellent-20cm-Mattress/4169
And again on the manufacturer website the 20cm model has 4cm memory foam:

£160 isn't going to go far for a memory foam double mattress I don't think. With 2 pillows and 20% off the sleep design mattress from TJ Hughes looks like the best value. Particularly if you can get the 25cm model for the price of the 20cm one0
