am I missing something??

I am completing a review of my bills to see where I can make some savings

When reviewing my last V media bill - it states that the line rental is £12.24 that the broadband is £37 (XL) and that I then recieve a £17 discount for having the phone broadband and TV,

So looking at the packages they are currently offering I notice that the broadband for XL is £20 so I am not really getting a £17 discount for having the 3 bundle package!

So I called them up and the woman on the phone said that because I am paying the same as I would regardless of the discount I should be happy and disregard the discount as it doesn't matter......

Unless I am missing something isn't it wrong for them to say that I am getting a discount but just increasing the cost of the broadband to counter that?

I am confused now as I am certain that when I took out the package I was told that I would get a discount if I took all 3 which is why I switched

Any advice?
