ParkingEye - what happens next?

Just had the exact same letter as the OP and was wondering what to do. Came across this forum and now I know what to do - ignore them.
As an aside, the photos they sent are of the car entering and leaving the car park, not of the car being parked for longer than the 90 minutes. Anyone know what the legal viewpoint is with regards to that?
Thanks0 -

Standard letter chain means Jack shoite, except they have a picture of a car entering and leaving a car park. Unfortunately for them they cant sue a car, any more then they can the registered keeper!
They would need to speak to the driver! Who's going to tell them?0 -
Hi guys
Sorry for reviving my old thread, I didn't realise it'd been so long.
I see that there are still lots of new threads being made about Parking Eye so thought I should update mine to let you know what's happened since I decided to ignore them.... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
I haven't received any further correspondence from then at all since my original post. I think it's safe to presume now that after 6 months, they're not pursuing the matter.
The advice on here seems to be spot on (thanks guys:beer:) - Don't respond, just ignore everything. And try not to stress about it too much like I did0 -
Thanks for coming back and confirming.;)0

No. But you know this already.0 -
Did you read the 7 month old thread you have just bumped?olderbolder wrote: »hi got a parking charge notice from parking eye for over staying at aldi do i have pay it .0 -
Just read xcathx's post two above yours. The answer is it is an attempt to scam you, do not pay them or respond in any way.
Other, perhaps, than to tell the manager of your Aldi that with regret, you will not be shopping there again as they have parasites in the car park?0 -

To avoid bumping ancient old forum threads, always click back to the main forum when you find a random old thread by Googling. Read the CURRENT information not an old discussion you stumbled upon.
It's easy and it's only one click away. You have no idea how many current threads are about Parking Eye and other such companies!!
See my signature for where to click (works with any forum, always look for the breadcrumb trail, usually tiny blue writing at the top of a forum page). Click on the right hand end of the run of >links and hey presto you see the forum the ancient thread comes from.
Then you can read the sticky thread at the top 'PPC letters & threats' - get a preview of the letters to ignore - and watch the Watchdog clip on there as well.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
