O2 sim cancelled ?
Hi
I've got a spare phone with an O2 PAYG sim.
Although it had a fair bit of credit left on it, not connecting to the network any more. This may be because it has not been used for a while and from memory the sims get canned if they are not used for six months. Can't believe I haven't used the phone in 6 months but could be correct.
Can anybody clarify this for me and confirm that there is nothing further I can do with the sim and the credit is lost.
Cheers

If you don't use it for 6 months it'll get disconnected. It maybe able to be reactivated if it's been less than a year (networks have different rules, I'm not sure what O2 are).
If it has been terminated then that's it, the numbers gone along with any credit, sorry.0 -

Not always correct I have reconnected terminated sims before, it needs to be probably less than a month after termination0 -
Just shows you can't believe everything your told in training !
We were told that a disconnected acc could be reconnected, but once it had been terminated that that was it, game over.0 -
Thanks for the replies - it turns out that the sim had been disconnected because there had been no topup for 999 days. Another rule to deal with.
O2 have a live chat facility and I was able to get the sim reconnected although got to top up by £10.PLEASE DO NOT STEAL
