Computer will not connect to Internet Explorer

    are you using a software firewall, other than the windows one?

    download opera or firefox if you are worried about closing ie

    It is connected to a LAN.

    As far as I know the only firewall being used is the one in the router because it didn't agree with the one in Windows.

    As it is not my computer I didn't want to install another program.

    I haven't got a clue about computers in case you haven't realised by now! :eek:

    Although I can type into the address bar and press enter the computer is not responding to the enter key. I have emailed the link to the computer but it will not open the link. What am I supposed to do, in baby steps of course?

    Should have said it responds to the enter key in other programs but not in Internet Explorer.
