I won't bother with this in future. I have had one useful response out of all these replies. The rest have just been sarcastic or pathetic. I won't waste your time any longer.0

please bear in mind that accidents do happen and it is not unusual or unreasonbale to expect foreign objects to found in food. Most posts including my own are basically trying to say that as you werent harmed and absolutely no damage was done, you cant really expect to claim 'damages' from m&s. most posters like yourself with very little past on this forum think there onto a 'get rich quick' scheme and want to join the american sue culture of which most people disagree with.
Please accepct their sincere appologies and your refund and move on, you could try chasing them but this matter has been dealt with many many times and it will only work out expensive and a pain for yourself.0 -

Thank you, the first real post that has actually been of use. As I mentioned earlier, I had forgotten about it, however my partner reminded me, so I thought I would seek advice.0 -
Sadly not, No! Shame that, any more comments you can throw my way?
If you like.
Why did you not title the thread "I want compensation"?
What did you mean by this "I won't waste your time any longer"?
I do appreciate that if you answer the first question it screws up the second statement but then you have already done that;)0 -
