  • I've only been driving for 6 years and it was 83p when I started. It's getting ridiculous, 7 litres to a £10 note. If recent events in Egypt and Tunisia have shown us anything, throwing a fuel rise is just going to light the powder keg.

    I don't support these things but are people not entitled, after slaving away in jobs they don't like to pay tax, to enjoy themselves without paying more tax?

    If they showed some guts and tore the banks a new one we could probably settle most of our debt in a year.

    woopy doo it may not increase another penny this time, Tax must be around the 70p a litre mark now?

    Sure it was 66p last time i looked it up. How many big companies pay no tax to the UK?
    Footballers, Celebrities.

    Must be a few billion £ wasted there.
