woolworths 'order online'

there is a dress in woolies that i want to get for chops for christmas. they never have the size i want in stock so i keep going in and asking to order it online and for it to be delivered free of charge to the shop. thing is the particular size is always out of stock, even on their orderline website.

what can you do  nothing i guess but its annoying because i want this particular dress as its the on 'party' dress ive seen that i like.

  • Tell me about it with Woolies! My 7 year old daughter is (strangely) obsessed with StarWars at the moment and when I went into 2 different shops they didn't have the toy in question, tried to order it in store and was told to come back another day, they were unable to order it in(?) and when I went online, it said to try again later! Why advertise things if you can't supply them, or at least tell your customers when they'll be available?

  • Have you given head office a call to ask which stores have been allocated this dress? My hubby works for the clothing logistics firm that deliver the clothing to woolies. The unfortunate thing is that there are gangs of shoplifters who steal the stock, so it still shows up "in stock" on the system as none have gone through the tills, so replenishment cannot be done. I used to work for woolies and i saw it happening. Failing that, they should be able to send it from anywhere that has one by an branch to branch transfer, as they used to do this when they had alot of stock that was needed by another store.
