Yep it is business and between private individuals the sale is complete when the buyer pays and drives away.

A subsequent PP charge back because something on the car had gone wrong is much the same as stopping a cheque, fine if you have legal grounds, tantamount to theft if you don’t.

Hmmm, as per my previous post, BUT, if the seller has closed their account and changed banking details a refund becomes difficult/impossible???

I have to say that the seller really would have had to had all this set up before hand, but it happens. :(
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

There you go again ! I can't believe it! You need to seriously step back and think about what is important in life. It is certainly NOT saving money at the expense of honour !

We should be able to post a question on this moneysaving website and get relevant advice, not irrelevant holier than thou moral lectures!

Well I bought the car - and he accepted the amount via Paypal. Yes, he delivered the car to me as well, hehe :-)

Did all the proper checks on the car, it's totally legit as far as I'm concerned. Also went for a decent test drive earlier today before bidding.

Am dead chuffed with the deal ... its a great price for a great condition car.
