The National Counties Guaranteed ISA (06-07) should be included on the list too - currently pays 5.26% - has a guarantee of 0.4% above the base rate.
It is closed for this year now, but it'd be useful to have it here for anyone with one to see.0 -
Where do you see this one being announced? As far as I can see the eSavings 2 account is still 5.1%?Bradford & Bingley ESavings 2: 5.10 --> 5.25 (30/06/07)Author of the first Stoozing FAQ on the Internet and Creator of the SOA & Snowball calculators at Lemonfool.co.uk0

thanks.
The rate wil be cut of course0 -
Clariman,
That's the minimum rate rise that B&B can give you (under their rate guarantee), not the actual rise (green text) or announced rise (orange text). I'll try and make this info clearer
Innys & tom188, thanks for the info, Coventry First is technically a current account so I missed it."The state is the great fiction by which everybody seeks to live at the expense of everybody else." -- Frederic Bastiat, 1848.0 -

Mr Mumble you are doing a grand job and i think it is very clear so far.Very useful info.
Thankyou :T0 -
There does not appear to have been much movement today. Much dragging of feet and umming-and-erring, as per. It's not as if the rate rise was exactly unexpected, is it.
'This is Money' has updated its monitor, but nothing concrete really. Some mention of Nationwide at the top, and others prevaricating at the bottom.

Bhamstudent, thanks, have added.
If anyone else knows of closed, to new customers, accounts that have an applicable rate guarantee please tell. I'll put the account in the original post.
pfpf, wouldn't like to speculate on Cahoot... but (:p) with the workforce halved this year it doesn't look as if Santander/Abbey want to grow business at this subsidiary."The state is the great fiction by which everybody seeks to live at the expense of everybody else." -- Frederic Bastiat, 1848.0 -
Very useful post Mr Mumble. Would it be possible to add the Halifax ISA to your list.
Thanks
