While you are correct that be are now owned by o2. You get a completely different level of service (broadband quality) than the likes of the cheap o2 deals.

Depends what you mean by cheap................. I am paying £10 a month to o2 for 16mbs - superb service and reliability !

Presumably they mean that with the Be deals you get the extra service in terms of functionality/line management that with the standard O2 deals you don't

Been with them for at least 4 years, can't fault them so far, apart from sending my new modem to my old address
  • i was with be during my student years....great service and no problems really.
  • O2 and Be are linked by name, but from my experience of both providers BE is the BEST BB a gamer can get. i had loads of issues with O2 with drops and their constantly re routing down networks wich ups you PING times. i NEVER ever had a problem with this through BE even when o2 was having an exchange problem so my conclusion is they have different exchange equipment. i opted (at the time) for the 24mb purly because of the static ip and tweaks you can mess with with your BB profiles. gamer mode was one tweak you could use wich really helped your ping going from 30ms to 16ms and stay stable.

be is what i'd choose if your a gamer.
