I am incredibly happy today as I have well exceeded my challenge for the month and it is only the 8th Feb :j

I received quite a bit of money from a family member and managed to save £167 by switching to a new energy supplier when we moved into our new house. I put the money I received along with the remains from my xmas and b-day money in a savers account :D

I also have tracked £62 via q*idco and still haven't given my old phone to be recycled.

We also have a lot of stuff that can either be put in a car boot or sold on ebay, need to get myself into gear and sort this out. Going to see how much more I can make this month.

Have a good day all, going to be on a mission tonight getting a few more things sorted.

Keep up the good work everyone :T

Another £10.16 made up from eBay and Quidco! Very happy.

Was my birthday yesterday and I received £100 in a mixture of cash and vouchers but have not counted it as I treated myself to a few bits and pieces and a well deserved haircut!

Might see if I can double my target this month to make up for January!
Cabot (0%) left to pay £2455 let the overpayments commence! :D

£31.71 from eBay sales after postage and fees. Bids on other items add up to £16 with two days to go so fingers crossed.

Well done blondy24 for reaching the target already :)

Today I have some items to add:

96p from ebay (after fees + postage)
£17.30 paid today by a mystery shopping company (after expenses deducted) for work done last month.

I'm still expecting some ebay money, some phone recycling money and other mystery shopping fees so I'm hoping to reach a target of £590 to make up for missing January which should be do-able as it's my first month :)

Can I join in (albeit late)

    £10 a day please.

So far this month I have made:

£72.23 from my second job (paid weekly on a Thursday)
£9 in tips (put straight into the terramundi piggy)
£38.89 in my paypal account (£13.50 was a refund)

So far my total is: £120.12

I'm not doing a food shop (bar milk and bread obv) this month in a bid to use up the old food and save money. Not doing much on Valentines day so that wont cost much. Road tax is due at the end of the month but its budgeted for.

Need to see if I can sell my old mobile to one of those phone places. Its broken but one of them offered me £30.

quick question but am I allowed to count a payrise? I'd guess not BUT am only asking for the backdated wage, as it applies from 1st January through 19th for last month (obviously I'm not counting this months -20th Jan through 19th Feb- as it's at the correct rate)
it only works out about £7/8 ish due to reduced xmas hours

second thing - regarding cashback sites: do we count amounts confirmed/paid or amounts tracked? mainly asking in regards to Quidco as there are 4p searches I do most days but I've got a differing amount thats been paid to my accoun and waiting for payment to bank?

    thanks in advance

anyways, finally totted things up and have so far made a PROFIT of £89.68 on ebay this month.
so far I'm well on target :)

hi Yeslek, I think it is up to everyone how they do this but I personally am adding anything which is over and above mine and other halves normal wages. So I would include the backdated wage.

As far as cashback sites, I only count these once payments are received in my bank account - but its totally up to you.

I am going to include the council tax and water for Feb and March which we don't have to pay. I have to do it this way otherwise this money tends to just get swallowed up or frittered away if I don't:rotfl:

I need to add £20 for an item I sold today.

I've just baked a cake for someone but I feel soooo bad as it was pretty terrible. The baby was crying and I ballsed it up! The icing looks awful...I've just sent the OH out to deliver it and I would usually ask £35 for it but I cant so have only asked £25...and I still think that is too much! Thats my first ever 'bad day' cake! Hope I dont have anymore...

Will give an update later on the OH's potentially new job in London...
