Orange San Fransisco Cracked Screen Manufacturing Problem

Good luck and hope Head Office deal with it promptly.
My DD1 has had one of these phones for a couple of weeks and its a fantastic phone - she keeps it in a leather case and is quite careful - would hate to think it has an inherent fault.

Mine is the OLED one too.
Still waiting for the reply from HQ.0 -
I posted the letter (guaranteed 5 working day response) according to the shop manager.
3 weeks later I received a reply that as the phone is so new they will replace it free of charge. Rang them up and they couriered one round next day. Did a factory reset of the old one and handed it back.
So I am happy with that.
Thanks Orange
I think the moral of the story is don't spend time speaking to call centre staff. They can only do what the computer tells them.
Do one call to the call centres, then move on.
The new one is LCD screen (I know OLED are in short supply) but it is 100% better than a cracked OLED screen.0 -
Nice to hear a good result!

That's good news, mine has stopped working too, mine isn't cracked (other than a totally unrelated crack on the camera plastic bit on the back) but the screen has stopped responding. It works for a little while if you push on the front of it though, but it's getting worse.
I'm going to take it into the orange store but presumably they'll say impact damage etc, even though it's not. Wish me luck! :beer:0 -
Just phone them and say the touchscreen doesnt work, theyll replace it no questions asked0

Within 3 days the crack had worked its way to halfway up the screen and the phone was unuseable. I emailed e2save on friday night so im hoping for a response this week. Guess all i can do is try. Mines the oled screen by the way.
At last I find other ppl with exactly the same problem as me, I had to join just to say I'm in the same boat as you guys.
I will try to ring e2save tomorrow and see what happens.0
