What type of calendar/diary do you use to organise your family?

I use a Forever Friends Family Organiser....5 columns and 6 boxes for each day.
It's become a tradition now and I have had this calender for about 15 years (way before small person!!). My Dad knew I love FF and all those years ago I think he bought it in a blind panic at Christmas and it became invaluable.
He couldn't get it one year and drove a fair distance away to the Forever Friends shop to get it for me...bless him0 -
I also use a family calendar with 5 columns - Handy to see if anything clashes within each section.
I also have a small diary for in my bag for when I'm out and about.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. I have just had a look at the organised mum website from the link above and they have a sale on their diaries and planners at the mo. All 2011 dated products are £5.00.
Now...... I have a family calendar on the wall in the kitchen with spaces for each of us plus birthdays (only me, OH and 16mo) This is the first year I have had one of these and I am finding it very useful. But I would like a family diary too for when I'm out and about and for adding more detail.
I don't know whether to buy the Family Life Diary or the Life Diary????? Can anyone comment on either of these if you have them?
(Sorry to hijack your thread Mics_chick. Hopefully the answers will help you too!)

now that i live alone, i use an A5 day-to-a-page diary which organises me.
everything gets written in there, work appts, doc appts, and anything social, as well as my shopping lists / to do lists every day / any notes / addresses or numbers i need. i'd be lost without it! also things get stapled in like tickets / receipts for expenses etc..
when living at home, mum had a family organiser calender which was updated by everyone as and when they knew about htings..worked well, as it was clear to anyone who was doing what.0 -
While we have a calendar in the kitchen both myself and the better half use the calendar on our phones. I've setup both phones to sync the calendar automatically every night to our Google Calendars using http://www.googasync.com (not involved with them - just a happy customer) and then both google calendars sync with each other!
Convoluted but it means that if I am arranging something when I am work I can see what we are doing that day.
Cheers

Google Calendar - we each have our own and then shared events each on each.0

I'm rubbish, I use nothing but my memory! or for birthday parties I have the invitation stuck to the fridge using a fridge magnet - I'm far too disorganised to use a diary/calender! I forget to look in said diary anyway!0

I have an A5 diary and an accountants red and black calendar with big squares and no pictures, for appointments etc.
I also have an on-going list on my notice board and lots of yellow sticky notes!bertie200
2011 - best wins - Coca-Cola Fridge, Galaxy Tablet, Kodak Printer, Roberts DAB Radio, £200 Voucher, John Lewis Hamper, Tassimo Coffee Machine :j:j0 -
We have a laminated wall chart that shows the entire year. Really useful to see whole months ahead without having to turn pages.
We also have a small whiteboard for writing kitchen ingredients on as they run out, with an attached small pinboard that all the school notices go on.0
