  • Wickes sell the dedicated screws and scrim tape for the joins.

    You only need to put the aquaboard where there are to be tiles.Any areas to be plastered need to be normal plasterboard.
  • sorry my mistake i got muddled up :confused: i think we are putting up the tiles already on a sheet...sorry again.. so will plasterboard the rest of the bathroom . seems like i dont need aqua board....

  • You only need Aquapanel where it's likely to get wet. It is a cement based product and therefore doesn't go soggy when it gets wet. http://www.knaufdrywall.co.uk/files/HTECHDEPTBSTARKBTMwebsitesKnauf_DrywallLiteratureAquapanel_Mar_06.pdf
    So for domestic situations it's only needed in shower areas and wetrooms and the like.

    Is that the Moneysaving version as the genuine ones are ceramic coated and aren't cheap?

    Any screws that wont rust will be ok, moneysaving Yes as i have 1000's of brass screws:D
