Talk Talk Modem

Hello
I'm thinking of getting Talk Talks 3 option which is a fantastic deal. Does anyone think it is necessary to get there modem? Below is what they have said on their site.
At the moment I'm with Tiscali and use one of there modems could I use this one? (it is about a year old)

I waas registered too with Tiscali for my broadband.
I have moved to Talk Talk also for the option 3 package
I am using the modem supplied to me from Tiscali very successfully

Thanks for that. Just concerned that Talk Talk wont give any support if any thing goes wrong!
A good saving of £30 though. How long were you with Tiscali for? How aold is your modem?
