These sorts of emails are amusing, but the thing that is annoying is that these spammers are able to purchase email addresses and then send this spam relentlessly!

Whether it's after submitting your details to a major job board or applying for a competition, it appears that these people can get your details far too easily.

In terms of applying for jobs, I recommend applying direct to employers or use a direct employer job board when looking for work, or search for recruitment agent reviews before submitting your CV (and therefore your contact details) to them. Otherwise, you may find yourself being spammed.
