A Picanto isn't the heaviest thing in the world though - drives pretty well I found without the need to thrash it to get it to go anywhere unlike say a 1.0 Corsa.
Hence I bought one

The 1.1 Hyundai engine isn't a bad little lump, and does seem to pull the Picanto around reasonably well.
It did struggle a bit with the heavier Getz. 1.3, 84hp lump is the sweet-spot on that car.0 -
What's the score with the 1.0 engine? I believe it's also made by Hyundai but don't know much about it.0

Or better still, the more recent 1.4 .. 95hp one.
