I'm so sorry for your loss. Taz was absolutely beautiful. It hurts so much when they have to go, and even more so when they are so young. But, when you are ready, look at your photos of her and let them bring a smile - you clearly gave her a very happy life full of fun and love."Your life is what your thoughts make it"

I know exactly how you are feeling, my 15 year old girl died yesterday, we knew she was not at her best, and had not been for a good 6 months, but this was such a shock. It happened so quickly, I got home to find her distressed and then she started to have blood come from her mouth, I could not take her to our vet in our town, so had to go to another one of their practices about 5 miles away, and it was so horrible, she was obviously in pain and making some awful noises, and when I got to the vets she had gone quiet and I just knew she had gone. I feel so very sad to know that she died in the cat box in our car, I feel that I added to her distress by taking her to the vets, but I thought maybe she just had something stuck down her throat. The vets think that for it to happen so quickly it must of been heart failure, and that the blood had come from her biting her tongue. It all happened within 30 minutes. Am really struggling to deal with this, she is the first of my animals to go, feel really heartbroken.0

Really sorry to hear of your loss. Yes, it's such a shock when it happens so quickly.........we were the same, discovered her at 11pm and 20 minutes later she was sleeping painfree.
You DID do the right thing taking her to the vet's - if you hadn't, you would have been wishing you had.
I swear I heard her miauw tonight..........am convinced I saw the usual 'white blob' through the glass back door...........keep seeing her laying on the settee out of the corner of my eye.Nicotine Free since 01.08.2010 :j:j:j

Thank you very much. Yes, she was a lovely character and I know she had a very happy life out hunting whenever she wanted and lots of cuddles and sleeps in front of the woodburner.Nicotine Free since 01.08.2010 :j:j:j
