Yeah took a while, upload is only 384k so it took a while and I won't download it cos that is gonna be slow me down a bit . Seems weird lemme think a bit

HAs she set up her email on Plusnet to forward it to another email address, also are you sending to her as " sister @ sister . plusnet . com"

don`t understand what you`re saying .It must be set up to forward surely cos I`ve had email from her.I don`t understand what you mean about sending to her. sorry
Why would ordinary email get through to her but not one with attachment?

What I was saying about being forwarded is probably irrelevant, since you said she has not used a pc till now, so I guess she won't have another email address. Sorry I should have remembered what your 1st post said, my fault.

Ok can you send a small attachment eg a word document or a text document ?

Edited : doesn't matter if she can't open it just lest see if it gets through.

More than likely there is a "Y" in the day so

Really the first thing you should do is sign her up for gmail or some other free webmail service, using the one provided by the ISP is always a terrible idea because when you change ISPs she will have to change address again.
