forgive me,

Can I use my daughters sim (with unlimited internet) in a dongle (obviously the same network provider) on a laptop

I'm going away for the weekend, was thinking rather than pay the hotel rates, could use the dongle/sim with unlimited internet

would just be surfing the web, no down loading etc

would the network provide be able to charge extra ??

any advice would be appreciated, thanks

I have used my O2 sim in a dongle and that did not attract any extra fees.

Technically they can tell and most contracts state that any unlimited internet is supposed to be for the phone use not as a dongle so yout probably breaking the T&C's of the contract.

Practically although computers will consume more data than a phone (because they will go to web pages that have not been optimised for mobiles so contain more data) unless you cane it they are unlikley to notice or care.
