I did get some good advice in september-since then i have been in constant contact with the lha and the tenants association who told me not to move or they wouldnt be able to help me any further as i would be making myself homeless despite being harrassed to leave by the landlord.the main problem i have is actually contacting the landlord to try and sort out the problems.

So have you been chasing EH to take action?
Have you been in touch with http://www.talktothepress.co.uk/ ?
Have you followed the Shelter advice on repairs?
Have you been in touch with HSE?
Have you been in touch with HMRC?
Did you check the status of your deposit?
    Have you spoken to Shelter?

All the above were suggested back in September.

    Additionally now:
    Land Registry.
    Lender
    Police
