Countrybum - I'm shattered too with harvest and everything and it scares me senseless when people say I don't know what tired is and i should wait till this time next year. I can barely cope this year so the idea I'll be more tired than this terrifies me!0

zcrat if you've not found this already during your pregnancy so far (which unfortunately I'm sure you have), there is always someone who tries to scare you or make out that things are going to be horrendous in the pregnancy, birth or afterwards. Everyone handles situations differently, and everyone's bodies react differently. I'm sure there are a lot of people who wouldn't be able to handle harvesting without being pregnant, so you're doing really well, and I'm not surprised you're tired! Try to ignore people who do this, and also the people who feel that just because you are pregnant that they have a reason to make comments about your size, what you eat etc. Take one day at a time, and enjoy the days you have energy, and try to sleep where possible on the days you don't. Hugs for you and anyone else who've been at the hands of these insensitive people. x (Sorry - pregnancy seems to have made me a lot angrier and more impatient. lol)Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

as what Sexymouse says. Hubby is very fed up with everyone saying how hard it will be and not saying what the positives are0

Hi all. have to agree with sexymouse. But to counter that and in challenge to savage's comment. The positives for me at the end of the day have been (and they are daft little things):
Knowing that my DH and I are the sun, moon and stars to our DS (and will be to this one too) regardless of who else is in their lives.
No matter how tired I am (or was when he was small), just seeing that little smile appear just for me makes it all worthwhile.
Having my DS (as a toddler) come running into the room and throw his arms round my legs and say "up, mummy" and then planting a sloppy kiss on my face.
Hearing the giggles when he is ticked or has a raspberry blown on his tummy.
Feeling a wicked sense of smugness to myself when someone else wants to hold him and he says no and clings onto me. This is something he rarely does as he is very social and likes company so a big deal when he does it.
When he was tiny, having his wee fingers wrapped around one of mine while he was feeding/sleeping.
Knowing that no matter what, we have produced something so utterly awesome (if I do say so myself:rotfl:) and so totally ours.
Aw man - I am such a softie! Please don't tell anyone! lol!
Simply put - no matter how tired you are or how difficult it seems to get, it's all worth it!0 -

I just had to pick up on this - because pregnancy seems to have made me very angry about every kind of injustice and political stuff!
Especially so because my MIL (in the states) is about the vote for the worlds biggest moron in the world.:mad::mad:Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -

So much for not getting baby stuff until after 20 weeks / move house.
Just been to see a friend and come back with a moses basket, stand, cot mobile thing, baby swing, baby bath and lots of sheets/blankets etc :money:0
