That is a reading per hour. kWh.
 It's up to 2.0 now.
I stated above, the kettle says it's 2500-3000Watts.
No, you said it was your current daily usage. I understand that as total usage per day, not your average hourly consumption. If your average hourly consumption is that high (33.6kWh per day), you'll be spending about £100 a month. No free lunch, and no free laptop 0 0

The monitor says my current daily useage is 1.4kWh
 1.4 per hour, so far.
Bearing in mind it was only set up this morning so I guess it won't be reading right per day as I haven't gone through 24hrs yet.
 It's gone up to 2.0kWh now.9/70lbs to lose 0 0

op, don`t take your monitor readings as correct. It looks to me as though you could get an unexpected shock with your bill, if you do. You would be better off inputting your actual meter readings into imeasure and then just using the monitor to see which things eat up most electricity when switched on.
You did indeed say 1.4 kwh per day. My current usage is 7 kwh per day and that places my energy category re imeasure at A+. Average must be about D which is a lot more units0

Last month we averaged over 32 days
109Kwh of gas with conversion factor and 16.3kWh of electric, there are between 4/5 adults now most days0

My average electricity usage is around 8Kwh per day. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

We've had a smart meter for some months now and our daily electricity usage is 10 kWh. Interestingly, if we're away the empty house still uses about 3.3 kWh which must be 2 fridges, 2 freezers and some low level [oil] central heating. I'm pretty sure of the accuracy of the 10kWh as it agrees with our annual consumption of about 3500 kWh.0
