Now I remember why I left Vodafone ...

So just before xmas I treated myself to a GalaxyTab and decided (against my gut feeling) to take the £10 p/m 1GB 30 day Vodafone sim package too.
First bill has come in and surprise, surprise it's incorrect. I've used in the region 16MB according to my bill ... i.e. I've been mainly using my wifi at home... and yet I was charged £4.99 on top of the £10 for data usage !!!
Now, to be fair I called up about it and the CS rep said they would refund the charges and look into why I am being charged - it was totally ordinary web surfing and nothing remotely close to 1GB
So I check in the Vodafone online system tonight and see that I am still being charged for data use.... and not only that, even though some of the charges were refunded they were all refunded (ok only 80 odd pence but still it's the principle)...
Seriously - I think I may just cancel it and never go back to Vodafone again ... the word shoddy comes to mind. Really dissappointed.

LOL ta for the comment. And fair enough I should treat it as a whole new exchange and try not to let past experience cloud my feelings.
I just long for an honest company who says this is what we're selling, this is the price and who stick to their word/agreement.
I guess we'll see what happens on the next bill - but if it isn't sorted out and I have to call again it'll be to cancel it ... I do not need the stress.0 -

The problem was eventually sorted out by the call centre staff (and more or less refunded correctly). A month later I cancelled the data contract since I was not making enough use of it to justify the cost.
