Any advice from you expert moneysavers.
If a moneysaver has doubts over a company they have every right to voice it, be it a small complaint or the fact they have had major issues. Swindled actually says he personally doesnt find them that bad.
If you have had no problems with a company great, lucky you, some of us here clearly have but there is no need to try and make excuses, reason why, or try to pass the blame onto us.
Try and remember this site is for moneysaving and just because you dont agree doesnt mean you need to pick holes with peoples post, as it states above BE NICE !!!

Secondly there are umpteen threads knocking BG – doubtless justified - that you can contribute to; and are especially recommended if you wish to demonstrate your lack of knowledge of the Direct Debit scheme – again. Which is I suspect the reason for your intervention this time.
Thirdly with regard to my good experience with BG – well you obviously ‘don’t do’ irony!
Is it not possible to have a thread where a balanced discussion can take place without a personal experience being brought up yet again as absolute proof the company are rubbish.? As someone’s signature block states “repeated anecdotes are not proof.”
Lastly this is a forum(look up the definition) and I don’t need, or want, you to lay down how discussions will be conducted – the rules are quite clearly defined – and the forum is moderated; by people with the qualities to do just that. Although I note from other posts(where you feel obliged to define what is permissible) that you seem to have ambitions in that direction.
I hope I have made my position clear; or do you need further elaboration?0 -
I didnt lecture you, dont attack me it just makes you look petty.
I made a comment as I felt you were being unfairly critical of peoples (yes including mine) posts.
The original poster REQUESTED opinions, everyones, he didnt state "only give me facts that will stand up in court"
Rather than report you to the board mods i asked that you keep things friendly, which you havent been to me in any of your posts.
what a truly spiteful and hateful person you must be to reply in such a manner when I actually only asked you to be nice !!

From catford the OP:beer:
Oh dear-what've I started:eek: Thank you everyone:T I've decided not to join B/G now,mainly because I couldn't get to talk to a real person:mad: despite ringing many,many times.If they cant be *rsed,neither can I.:D Thank you all for the "opinions"?0 -
I was with BG for about 2 years prior to that npower, in my case i pay by monthly DD and with npower i was always in credit, as soon as i changed so did my bills and im not lying when i say both elec and gas immediately cost me more and i was never in credit again. Now changed back (phew) to npower and guess what, back in credit, this might have something to do with the long summer. Never the less the press and most of the money saving people will tell you BG are the most expensive. Im sure one of the dailys did a survey recently to "prove" this0

hurrah wrote:More Spam from this poster already reported to abuse on another thread.
Your post including the spammers quote is a good example of why you should never quote or even reply to spammers!
When the spam is removed, your post looks pretty silly doesn't it.

Not sure how best to respond to this thread as I am a newby to the forum, and a newby to all forums to be honest, but I do have some interesting facts on energy suppliers as I work for one of the most successful and competitive energy suppliers in the country, as announced on U Switch. I can offer tips on energy saving and who is the most competitive supplier in an area if anyone is interested. Personally, I rate the company I work for very well and know that their customer service rates very highly against other suppliers, but until I know what I should and shouldn't say, I will leave it until someone responds.
A safe response - Kelly0
