Losing my broadband connection!

It used to be that my broadband would go down at the weekends - all day Saturday without fail, now I'm losing it every lunchtime! At about 12 midday it goes and it vanishes until around 2.30 to 3.00pm!! Sometimes it off until 4.00pm. I'm with Talk Talk (formerly Tiscali!). Anyone got any ideas what's happening! It's driving me nuts!!

Please provide details of your set up. i.e Wired or Wireless, USB modem or router etc. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

I have wireless broadband via a router ( Belkin Router - Micra Digital).

When you get a disconnection, does the internet light on the router change colour or flash?
Also do you get disconnections if you connect via ethernet?
Could you download and install InSSIDer, we can use this to look for possible wireless interference. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
i have 2 sets of lights on the router - 1st set of 4 lights (marked adsl) light sometimes goes out when I lose connection but usually it's the 3 light (marked ppp). The other 4 lights marked LAN (L1,L2,L3,L4) never come on. I still get disconnected if I .use the ethernet cable.

OK, can you log on to the router and post its line statistics.
Hopefully this will help.

The LANs only light up when you have something plugged into them.
You say you also get disconnected when using Ethernet which suggests that your set up may be incorrect, or you may have a faulty filter. Go back to basics: unplug EVERYTHING from all your tel sockets. Put a new filter in your MAIN socket...not an extension or a slave socket. Then just put in the router on the modem side...no phone...just the router. As I say, make sure you are in your main socket!
Does it now stay connected? If not...plug in your phone and call talk talk. If it DOES remain connected, now try connecting up any other phones you have in the other sockets; remember to put filters in FIRST...wait to see if the router stays connected okay...and go on putting stuff back in. Hopefully, it stays connected and it so was just the filter...
If at any point when plugging equip back you know you've got something wrong...remember you need a filter on EVERY socket in use and the filter must be the first thing in that socket.
Other things that can cause an intermittent bb can be faulty telephony, but generally it's incorrect set up or faulty/missing filters
