was in boots 2 days ago and checked the ACM. Free mini trevor sorbie or umberto gianni hair product with advantage card::j . usually worth £1.59. not sure if this has already been posted.

I don't think the till will refuse it ... it's just that some SA's seem to have a problem with you getting the free gift when paying with points

anyone had any delays in recent orders from boots?

i have two orders that have still not been dispatched one placed on the 23rd Nov (apparently due to arrive tomorrow ) and one placed on the 25th (due to arrive on the 1st dec) still just showing as processing shipment.

the items on one order are still in stock.
and the items on another are now out of stock.

I'll be pretty miffed if they now tell me these are out of stock, as their online stock check is normally correct down to 1 (as when multiple ordering it occasionally takes some out of your basket saying we have only got enough to fulfil this amount) and money has been taken for both orders

I got 5 of the botanics Razor offers on Friday but went yesterday and the Link save didn't work argued about it but they wouldn't allow it.

In my local branch there is now a sign advertising the free Botanics lotion with any ladies hair removal product. In the magazine, it just says any Boots brand hair removal product! But I couldn't find any cheap razors so I left it.

I just went into boots this afternoon and went to machine, printed 2 vouchers for 150 points when you buy proffesional hair products, Tresseme is on offer buy 1 get 1 free so i took them to counter with the 2 vouchers and they cost £2.95 for the both and i got 300 points!! Therefore they were free!! How cool is that, I was well happy:j

they do cheap ladies razors too so dont panic too much. id just take in the mag with you(along with mens razors) they really havent got a shaved leg to stand on as they worded the advert rather ambiguously!:rotfl:
