  • The razors are from the Basics range, white packet with blue writing and costing 31p. None to be found in the Darlington branch this afternoon. :(

Remember to check the mens shaving section - I couldn't find any in the womens section, but found some 31p ones in the mens. Got the free botanics, and when I got home and checked these were exactly the same razors I got the day before from the womens section.
Whether Boots normally sell exactly the same razors in exactly the same packaging in both men and womens hair removal racking, or whether they have temporarily relocated them to the mens shelves to encourage us to buy the more expensive items ......
  • Has anyone used the No7 Advanced Renewal Anti-Ageing Glycolic Peel Kit thingy? Noticed today it is reduced to half price (£8) and was thinking of trying it but would be interested to know what other people thought of it?

    TIA

  • I managed to get my winter health pack after buying the BOGOF cherry lozengers - thanks for the idea.

Did get my botanics lotion free with the basics razors for 31p but only with a bit of pressure. The till didn't let it go through and, when I queried this, the SA kindly told me it was only meant for the creams which were more expensive. She said that as the razors were only 31p they wouldn't really allow an expensive freebie. So.... sweetly stated that it didn't say creams only and there were no exclusions and what were razors for if not to remove hair (thank you to whoever earlier used that line- it won the day!).
Off she went to management and 4 mins later I was allowed it reluctantly as a 'one off'. Didn't argue cos got what I wanted. Lots of Boots near me anyway. :D

Just wondering if you could advise which cough pastilles these were please? ... would be interested in buying them to get the pack.

    Many thanks, pp05

It was the ones in the pinkish pack with purple band at the top. I think they were just over £1.00. Sorry, have left them in my desk at work so cant check the exact name. I also bought Fisherman's friend lozenges for £1.29 and got the health pack, which I forgot to mention earlier.

    regards truly

I'd also really appreciate knowing whether people had any experiences of this product - then I can use it with the 250 extra points from the No.7 free gift!

I've used the Glycolic Peel and it's excellent on my skin which is 52years old and still a bit greasy with dry patches. Need a good moisturiser after use though.

  • My store does not have any of the No.7 glycolic peels - does anyone have any idea how long the reduced price will be on for - I'll be near a bigger shop next saturday. Any help much appreciated.

Oh God, where do you take all these vouchers? I'm going to spend £200 on Christmas evening on 30 November, so any of these vouchers would save me a lot. If someone has spare vouchers, please please please PM me ;)
I've had a card from Boots inviting me to a Christmas evening, and if you take the card with you it says you can have a free £10 giftcard if you spend over £170.

I'll see if it's store-specific and if it's not, you can have one - I'm not spending over £170
