tony_mac wrote:I got some of those today when the online order arrived - do you know if they can be used with the £5 No.7 voucher?
It says 'cannot be used with any other offer or discount', but I'm not sure if spending a voucher counts.

The Botanics offer excludes all Botanics cosmetics (clearance and non clearance) and also miniatures - it says so in store.
But apart from that everything else (full price and clearance price) qualifies for a free moisturiser. I suppose some SAs don't like putting a clearance price item through with a full price moisturiser but at the end of the day it is a legititmate boots offer - not underhand voucher use or anything like that!
I think Boots have a LOT of the old packaging moisturisers to clear so this is one of the ways to do it. My freebies have included both the old and new labels. Plus the RRP of the moisturisers is a bit, ahem, steep. I mean some are £6.99 and I personally would say they are not the quality as say an Oil of Olay moisturiser for the same price range. Not bad, but not something I would buy at full price. Anyone else agree ???0 -
i think you are just trying to justify having 23 moisturisers stashed under your bed
Oh got to edit to say YES i fully agree that it IS steep for a moisturiser HOW DARE they rip US offhehe

I had a really bad experience with a very snooty SA. She tried to tell me i couldn't have 750 points and sale items were excluded. Ended up getting the manager down who agreed i was right....neither were happy but i wasn't moving! Result two sale premium cosmectics plus purple Gift with purchase for £11-00 plus 750 and 75 points vouchers redeemed!
Ended up going back getting loads more bargains on the no7 vouchers (3 in total today) and a stunning free travel bag free with a perfume i paid for with my points. As you can imagine she was not happy when she had to serve me again.
I don't normally experience problems but this SA was extremely rude and made no effort to hide her disgust at my bargain hunting...anyone would think she hade the points taken off her wages. Top tip..never snoop to there level and remain polite but firm. Works a treat.0 -
in our local boots i am ALWAYS followed round the store by the security guard, i am in there everyday coz i'm on mat leave and me and kenny walk into town to meet my husband after work so i nip into boots (its next door) to see what offers are on. on day i'll say hello and introduce myself!! and the SA always asks if i've spotted any other good bargins (i told her about the razor/glow offer)0

Thats disgraceful! ?Haven't they heard of human rights?
Or maybe they are trying to spy on what you notice so they can grab it themselves!0 -

A member of staff has said that the 75% discounts are to begin on Monday - a farily reliable source??0

All my online orders dispatched now.:T :T
I can't wait, the small order came today, the mens fragrance set is nice and I was surprised by the kangol mens gift set really nice.
I won't make it in store Monday - working, just as well as I loads online.
The Boots I popped in today was definitely preparing for the sale, staff moving and stacking shelves.0
