Anyone who is getting Spam offers to buy amazing shares in the USA may wish to forward them to the American "Stock Exchange" - if they get flooded with emails they might do something about tracking the sudden large share sales that must follow from "pump and dump" operations.

    Just forward the emails to:-

    enforcement@sec.gov

Interestingly this is what a lot of them seem to be!

After years of never getting any, suddenly I'm getting loads to my email address (10+) a day.

Who is your mail provider? Your ISP - which one?

Simplest thing to do is get a Gmail account with numbers and letters, then send out a BCC email to all friends informing of the change.

I am sure that one of my email addresses found it's way into the spammer system via someone with my email address in their computer getting a virus (it was never public or used on a dubious website). So what we are really saying is make your email address hard to guess and change it regularly!

Maybe we should also hide our letter boxes at home to avoid junk mail.

I had the same problem with spam and found that while Mailwasher was a help but it was still annoying having to deal with it.

I now have 2 e-mail accounts with https://www.mail2world.com. Been with them for 2 years now and haven't had a single spam e-mail. I have an ordinary e-mail account, (which costs nothing) which I use for purchases etc., and a pop3 e-mail account for personal use which costs 20$US a year.

Another advantage is that if you change your ISP you don't need to change your e-mail account.
