I'd definately have Nick Knowles but then again I like most of the blokes on DIY SOS, funny guys so I guess I could have my pick
I could go on and on about my "list" but I wouldn't want to bore [STRIKE]Halight[/STRIKE] everyone
Hallo Bitsy Beans - I have been a lurker on here for a long time. I am a friend of Donny-Gal. She who is lapping up the sun in Spain. (we met on another thread)
Just wondered if you saw the DIY SOS at the end of December. Mike in Littlehampton? A gang of us on the Debt Free MSE forum had been boosting his morale for a while when a cowboy builder ripped him off. DIY SOS decided to re-build his house. A group of us from the Forum were invited to take part - we were clad in our T Shirts proclaiming MIKE's MOB. Just wanted to say that Nick Knowles and his team are the loveliest funniest men you could wish to meet. Boy did they work hard, but had fun too. Nick Knowles is so natural that you could never tell when he was in front of the camera or not. Lovely man. We had a great 4 days in Littlehampton.:D
Back to lurkdom.

Afternoon all
Apart from the rant above I've had a very good day! I played at being 'boss' this morning and attended a presentation where I had to do a speech and give out certificates to young people, then back to office this pm for some admin work.Loulou2010 wrote: »i would much prefer hugh grant/love actually:o:o
Ooh me too. Never liked him before this film and Bridget Jones but mmmmmm. In my old job in a call centre I actually spoke to him once :jHe sounded lovely!
While we are talking Men I would like to bagsy Nick Knowles from DIY SOS. I like my men big dark and hairy:p and no I'm not sharing:rotfl:
Please please please share him with me!! He has a certain quality about him.....
I can actually take it easy this evening as I've cancelled my plans so I have time to do some uni work, pack for Brum and sort a few bits out.
OS wise - WM and DW will go on later, need to decide what to make for tea, and need to tidy round a bit.
Have a good evening all

Hi All!
Busy day today, with course this morning - and yes I did hand in my essay, plus last term's file for assessment! Then this afternoon DH took me to Cambridge where he treated me to a new Panny BM!!! Bought mine in Jan 2000 and it's been fabulous. Then about four weeks ago I had it on too near to the worktop edge and it wobbled itself onto the floor - think I must have loaded it unevenly. Anyway, the lid broke off, plus another bit of plastic as well. I have been using it with the lid balanced on, but not fitting properly unfortunately. bread hasn't been cooking evenly since. I was just going to carry on regardless, but DH, b;less him decided to treat me to the new one! Isn't he wonderful?
haven't read the thread yet, but hopw you are all enjoying Friday! Take care.Resolution:

Well as I'm one of the errrm... older ladies here may I say I could really fancy Clint Eastwood ,cowboy boots and all.I like the strong silent rugged types ,plus my late OH was very like him to look at,same build, broad shoulders and skinny butt.Mind you I think 'Joseph' out of Holby is the bees knees as well when he takes his shirt off.My eldest DD would frown and go 'Oh Mother' in quite a shocked voice, but I may be an old dear, but there's no harm in dreaming;):D
Just got back from history class and we had a great discussion about the English civil war and 17th century life.My Uni tutor holds a supplementary history class for those of us who enjoy history at her house .Its really a social gathering of history nuts like myself, we have tea and biscuits and pick out a different period to learn about every couple of weeks .
Tonight I think I will have some of the veggie soup I made this morning followed by the last of the turkey breast with some salad for dinner .
No need to go out tomorrow so I will finish off the last bits of my essay for Monday's uni class.
Tooth has behaved today ,just as well as I can't get an appointment for two weeks
Have a good evening everyone
