words fail me. just when you think people can go no lower you read something like this.... are these people truly human??? god I hope not. I would hate to be of the same species as something that can do this. truly glad the kitten is recovering well and has the chance of a happy life.

    *************UPDATE***************UPDATE*****************

A reply I received from the ASSISI last night when I asked how she's doing.
Kim has settled in well with her foster carer who has 2 other cats and they all get on really well. The has grown up into a lovely cat who is adored by her new foster mum. A good ending.

I just stumbled upon the thread and I'm so glad for the update, am in tears thinking about people who can do these things to animals.
As a Previous poster said, to think I could be walking past people like that every day, make me feel sick :(

Here's to a long healthy life for Kim

I am glad the poor little thing is making a good recovery, shame the sicko who did it has never been caught  (to our knowledge anyway).

I donate a small sum from my wages each month to ASSISI. Glad to see that it is put to good use. ;)
