Lovely to hear Kim is doing well, she is a beautiful kitten why would anybody do such an evil act. Wish whoever was involved is caught would hate to think it could be repeated.0

UPDATE from ASSISI;Kim is doing really well. She is still living with her foster carer and enjoying herself. She is seen regularly by the Vet and a decision will be made in the next 4 weeks as to whether she will require surgery. We are keeping our fingers crossed that her injuries are healing well and that surgery will not be required. She is growing into a beautiful young cat.0

Disturbed and disgusted by this- at least the good that's come out of it is a safe, protective home for Kim. How anyone could consider doing this is unbelieveable- do hope they find whoever did it.0

Oh God, I feel sick to my stomach.
It's frightening to realise there are people out there who do things like that. And whoever did it is still on our streets.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving, Gardening, and Crafting boards.

Update from the ASSISI.Thank you for enquiring about Kim.
It is now 10 weeks since poor little Kim was admitted to Assisi Animal Sanctuary with her horrific injuries. During this time Kim has surprised us all with her happy, determined, loving attitude. She has become as bright
and mischievous as a 6 month old kitten should be! Kim has been xrayed every 2 weeks to check her pelvic fractures were healing correctly allowing her full use of her hips and to ensure that her pelvic diameter is adequate to allow normal toileting. Her progress has been remarkable and it now seems that she will be able to avoid further surgery. Kim still has a weakness in her left hip but we are confident this will heal fully with time. We will continue to monitor Kim regularly until her hip is fully healed but her future is looking very bright. In the meantime she is enjoying life with her foster carer.
Great news & thank's to the ASSISI for being there for darlings like little Kimmie!:T0 -
Ahhh, bet her foster mum keeps her! I emailed them offering her a home just in case
.
I ended up keeping my last foster kitten (and her mum.) Ooops!
It's so hard to let go of them when they've had so much tragedy.Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -

Ive not read this before because I didnt think I could handle it but reading the latest post that the kitten is doing well, I went back to the first post. I feel absolutely sickened to my stomach. What sort of sick low life, waste of space on this earth could do such a thing.
And what is more horrifying is - has this piece of sh** done it to other animals who havent been found/survived.
God help me, if I ever got my hands on someone like that.
Thank god the kitten is doing ok.0
