My paypal is now set up for micropayments
Will see how it goes fees wise, if it works out more expensive ill change it back

All my items are low value so should work out cheaper, but depends on multiple purchases will cost me more then. will just have to see which works out best
I used to get a lot more bigger/combined lots now not so many so will see...

This may be a silly question but how easy is it to switch back and forth between the two types of account? I would like to give the micro account a go but would want to switch back later. I do not want two accounts.

Getting a micro account is worse than trying to get through to ebay 'help' desk. It took me several attempts and lots of head banging before I got one. I'm not sure how easy it is to switch back though. I suspect it will be the usual paypal 'do everything in triplicate, then do it all over again until you get bored and give up'.

I'm just convinced now that paypal don't like me :rotfl:. I failed on my first two attempts, my request never went through. The third time I tried it took 10 days before paypal finally confirmed I could have a micro account.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Thanks for whoever posted the above link. Paypal changed my new account in 4 days.

I did a spreadsheet for tipping points on fees, if anyone here wants to know sales amounts to benefit from less fees. Better to use Micro account on sales up to £7.14 when on 2.9% normal fee and sales up to £9.37 when on 3.4% normal fee

why are the links I'm finding to the micropayments all in dollars ??
and I'm assuming if I want a normal paypal account and a micropayment account I will have to have two bank accounts ??

Yes, that's correct, see post #11

I thought any paypal account had to be linked to a bank account or can I just use the money in there to pay for things etc
and all the links I've found to the micropayments account are in dollars ??
