Uninsured Company Car

I'm trying to take stock of everyones input which is great, but with all the information you are giving me I need to put a bit of meat on the bones, firstly the car which was given to me use was a hire car from someone the "boss" knew, would that make a difference to anything? I far as I'm concerned it was insured as was the hire van I had previoulsy and also the car before that, In my original contract of employment I was supposed to receive a new Audi and be paid on the last working day of each month none of which happened, I'm still short from Decembers salary and even though I finished working for them last Friday I still haven't received anything from them! sorry I have gone off on a tangent, so I'm basically saying that I don't think they had a fleet policy, also I was the only employee all the works were sub-contracted out, who also haven't been paid.0

Do as Dcouch says, using the information i posted earlier.
None of the rest of what you posted will make any difference to your defence.

I starting to lose the will to live with this insurance, due to your advice it looks like the issue with the uninsured company car may be sorted, I have taken legal advice and they seem positive, however last year when I wrote my car off I was with the Green Insurance company I had 9 years NCD, I have requested confirmation of what it is now, we had to go onto an IVA the remainder of the premiums were being paid monthly as we had real differculties,The Green Insurance Company have refused to give me this information until the outstanding is paid in full. It is a 5 year arrangement! Can they withhold this information? By not having confirmation of what my NCD is I am unable to pay £3300 for car insurance, I can't get to work, can't earn any money, can't pay IVA, so the The Green Insurance Company don't get their money back! Can you advise?0

They won't be helping you because of the money you owe them.
Maybe you could write and explain the position as you have done here and appeal to them to relent. (Though if the write off was your fault in any way, then you would have 3 years NCD after that)
Regarding your uninsured company car issue, you should be getting your employer to pay for the legal advice/representation you have taken.0 -
The Green Insurance Company are actually Kwik Fit, so they're a Broker. Dig out your paperwork and see which Insurer you were placed with, then contact the Insurer directly. Give them your policy number and ask them what NCB you are entitled to.All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.0

Just a quick update, got 9 years NCD confirmed by Email and a letter, just now need to fight off any possilbe conviction for the insurance, I have contacted a solictor who was recommended, he has stated that there is little he can do until it goes to court, but I have heard that I could be "done" by post and it may not even go to court! I have spoke to the local plod who has said that I can appeal?0

You can only be 'done by post' if you plead guilty.0 -

Have you told the police about your defence as suggested above?0 -
My employer supplied a letter for the police explaining that it was a clerical error that the insurance wasn't transfered to the vehicle they gave me before Christmas, I have given this to the police who have taken and "put it on file"!0
