Sony W810i internet error (Orange)

I have a message in my inbox but when I try to read it, the messages tries to download, fails and says

"Download failed. Internet Profile Error. Please check settings"

Any advice appreciated. Thanks

if you go onto the sony ericsson website
you can send the orange settings to your phone by tapping in your number, or ring up cs but they's prob send out settings again
(if the se website doesnt work then youll most likely have to ring CS anyway)

Thanks, I tried the settings from Orange site, will that be the same? Didn't work anyway !

yes the settings are probably the same

is the problem with sms or mms?

Call 156 (Orange data support) they can send the setting and if it doen't work they can call you back on another phone and go through the setting with you and try a few tests

must be mms and I think it's from orange.


sms are fine thanks, unlike on my k750i which is why I now have this new phone. Not too bothered about surfing on the phone anyway.

edit: Just tried the sony site but went for the MMS settings rather than interent. Worked a treat, thanks.

go into messages> settings> Picture Msg and make sure the mms server is set to orange
and the internet profiles is also set 2 orange
