I have just received my Tesco Clubcard credit card which I have to say is absolutely great!
I get 13 months 0% on payments plus I get clubcard points for using it AND also get points on my regular clubcard!
Brilliant! Thanks Tesco! You guys need to check it out.

Don't even think about using it overseas, it will cost about 5.5% per transaction...0

Enjoyed my Tesco CC for the 0% period, unfortunately unlike my Virgin card, they have offered me absolutely nothing offer wise since my 0% run out in August and I have had a zero balance since them.
My Virgin card has offered me 6 or 7 different 0% deals in the past 6 months or so, when the balance has also been at zero.
So in my experience yes great for the inital use, but afterwards, not interested in offering existing customers further 0% offers.
Next time I want a 0% purchase card, to enable me to free up some income to credit ratio, the Tesco card is definately one I will be closing down. Same with the Halifax card if they offer me nothing after March.
Wish I had been savvy about 0% cards a long time ago, could have definately saved myself a lot of interest over the years.0 -
I must say, with the proviso about foreign spend, I like Tesco too. Good online site which allows you to make a payment via debit card and retains details so it's fast and easy.0

I got the Tesco clubcard credit card on 0% on bt's and spend. Account opened in September 2010. I cant find anywhere, neither on my online account details, nor on my statement, where it says how long the 0% period is for. On my statement it says Monthly Interest Rate Purchases - 0.000% same for BT's but there is nothing filled in where the Expiry Date column is.
I guess I'll have to ring them to ask but was wondering if anyone knows off the top of their head how long the deal was for in September? I seem to have 6 months in my head, so it's possibly finishing in February.
And yes I agree, it's easy to manage online.0 -

When did you get your tesco credit card? If it's between the dates shown on the t and c for the above refer a friend offer, you may still be able to get 1000 points by me saying that I referred you. PM me back if you meet the criteria and are interested in me referring you. Cheers0 -

If you think it is finishing in February, check your online/paper statements for November, December and January on one of them at least on the FIRST page on the left hand side it should have IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
Underneath the important information, it should tell you the exact date when the 0% offer is due to finish.0 -

Like I said originally, that information does not show on my online statement, no is it on any of my paper statements - there is a place for it but where it says 'Expiry Date', the information has not been printed...the space is empty.
I'll give them a call, I was just asking here in case anyone else had taken up the deal in September. And I hate calling call centres.....:(0 -

Yes the place where it says Expiry Date and is blank, is where you, I and others have expected the information to be, but it doesn't appear there.
That's why I said check your statements for the first page under Important Information. If you have done that and it isn't showing, then it must have changed in the past 6 months, or the offer doesn't expiry
until at least May.
