Thanks for the replies
Im definatly a fairy gal aswell and i can't drink anything else other that pepsi max. Im also funny about my coffee i will only drink douwe egberts or nescafe gold blend but will never pay full price for them because they are usually on offer somewhere.0 -
I used to be a Finish dishwasher tablet gal. But then I discovered Aldi.
I have to have Andrex loo roll though (haven't yet found any other brands that match it in strength and softness), so that's a vice of mine. Other than that, decent parmesan.

I have to admit Im not a very brand loyal person - I normally buy whatever is cheapest, or on offer/best value etc...
For example a different block of cheese is always either half price or on BOGOF every week so I buy which ever one that is...Same with cartons of Apple Juice - whatever is cheapest that week
Some things I buy repeatedly week after week just because its cheaper than anything else, such as washing tablets and Tesco Light choices beans, loo roll, tuna etc - although if something more expensive was on offer and made it cheaper, then Id probably buy that instead.
Only things I actually do stick to is, Cans of soup - has to be Heinz, my crisps are always Snack-a-Jacks, pasta sauce is always Home pride (but thankfully its nearly always on offer), Washing up liquid is Fairy (but only because it lasts longer than the tesco own brand stuff) and other than that my OH refuses to use any toothpaste other than ColgateMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

I'm not a big sticker for brands, or brand names. Exceptions are:
Clipper Organic Tea (All varieties)
Kerrygold Spreadable
Marmite
Marigold or Kallo organic vegetable boullion
Whole Earth Organic Peanut butter
Green & Blacks Organic drinking chocolate
St Agur0 -
I shop at asda and will do own brand / cheapest special offer on everything except chocolate spread (tried them all and just can't beat Nutella) and laundry stuff. If I change from Fairy (and I've tried other non-bios) I come out in rash around my ankles/cankles - tis not pretty (although to be fair, neither are my ankles

Always Branston Beans and Heinz tomato soup

Ditto. I love Branston beans, and regularly stock up when they're on offer. Bought lots when the Tesco, buy one get two free was on before Christmas. Also, they are frequently on offer in Morrisons
I love Heinz Tomato soup. Nothing else comes close:D0 -
Forgot about Green Giant Sweetcorn. Tried lots of own brands, and while they are acceptable,i much prefer Green giant. Not the cheapest though,- so i always look out for offers.0

Ive never understood why people buy top of the range toilet roll lol. It goes down the toilet once you have wiped never to be seen again.0

I'm not a brand snob but I am loyal to shops.
I only use
The Co-oP Aproved foods, Food bargains, big brands for less.
I can get all the brand names that I want, although apart from Marmite I really do not care too much.Ebay 13
