What freezng to death in a house in winter like the old age pensioners, they get heating allowance.. and having council tax charges and bailiffs round as you cant pay it as they wont spread the payments from 6 months when your Citizens Advies asked them to?

They dont spend much on cleaning the town or surrounding streets. I can tell you that

Just like those stinky cigarette smoking people in Glasgow littering the streets with cigarette stubs ???

You obviously have to die to get a crisis loan

As a public servant shouldn't you at least phrase your advice in a more corporate way - 'Ha, ha' not really being a recommended response really.

Yes, the OP is perhaps barking up the wrong tree, and, yes, it is OK to pass comment on an open forum BUT as you are drawing attention to your 'official' status then I think you should be more reserved in how you address a member of the public (or leave out details of your employer and then voice a personal opinion).

I think the OP has basically insulted everyone who have ever actually needed a crisis loan.

I take it I would rejected for a crisis loan on the grounds I want to take the kids on holiday?

    Nope don't agree,

The poster is stating their opinion based on experience and is justifying it, hence the attention to the "official" status.

"Stating advice in a corporate way" this is as you say, is an open forum not a business meeting

and as for "as a public servant" come one really !
