I don't think needing carpets is the definition of a 'crisis', those loans are for ppl that are facing eviction because they have fallen on hard times.... or someone that can't afford to feed their kids because their electric bill needed paying... I am sure u have fallen on rough times, but frankly if u can get urself into credit card debt and r not paying your council tax, then u HAVE had the means to do it in the past. I think going to the CAB to get debt advice and maybe bugeting advice is needed more than carpets love!0

He is a sponger, he can't afford new carpets but can afford £400 airline tickets..
It just makes me laugh that some people have NO idea how to handle money, even in small quantaties.
Should be a law or something."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -

[SIZE=-1]Crisis loans are interest free loans. As the name suggests, crisis loans are intended to meet urgent needs when no other help is available. They are to provide help in an emergency or a disaster. From my point of view, the situation you are in is not a crisis. Though to you, making that substantial profit is a crisis, to the lenders it is not, and they will not give it to you unless you forge a lie. It would be much easier just to get a personal loan, and upon the loan process explain what its being used for. lenders like to see the money go back into something that is concrete, as opposed to something that is 'worthless' such as a vacation. You will still get the money in the same amount of time as you would a crisis loan, except without all of the problems along the way, and lies involved.
So no, a Crisis Loan is not suitable for your needs. Try to apply for a personal loan and make sure to tell them it is for your home remodeling.

No OP, you wouldn't be able to get a crisis loan. But you may be able to get a budgetting loan if you qualify for help from the social fund?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I don't see how £1,700.00 can make you £30K profit on your house.
I heard a rumour that, they dont spend much on cleaning the town or surrounding streets,
and those stinky cigarette smoking people in Glasgow litter the streets with cigarette stubs.
Or am I misinformed ?Space available for rent0
