Crisis loans.

Do they let you have one to buy carpets and a few lights to put your house on the market as we COULD make 30 thousand gross profit if it is sold?
Also to pay council tax?

I tried last year for carpets for the winter but also with paying my bank overdrafts off and my credit card total 5000 pounds (carpets with fitting £1700 approx) and they refused.

I don't think this is the definition of a crisis.

What freezng to death in a house in winter like the old age pensioners, and having council tax charges and bailiffs round as you cant pay it as they wont spread the payments from 6 months when your Citizens Advies asked them to?

They dont spend much on cleaning the town or surrounding streets. I can tell you that

Just like those stinky cigarette smoking people in Glasgow littering the streets with cigarette stubs

You obviously have to die to get a crisis loan

    Definition of CRISIS LOAN:-

A loan to help you make a bit of money for yourself and at least give you some new carpets in case your house doesn't sell :p

PS - Apologies pinktooth as I have just seen your latest post and it doesn't seem as funny anymore!!

Am sure if you asked them for that they would of told you why it was refused - yes you are freezing cold, but if they were to pay out crisis loans for everyone wouldn't we all be better off?! you need to look at other ways you can increase your income to sort out your problems, like an extra job or selling items at a carboot or ebay or save up for a small halogen heater to keep you warm and joining a credit union to save and borrow from at a low interest rate and still have your shares remaining.

    Hhahahhaahhahahaaa oh my.

Given on monday, because they have taken 3 weeks so far to process my esa claim, I had to walk to town and back and spend 4 hours at the job centre applying for a measly £43 crisis loan to put my meters on and eat, and was not only turned down but left the place in tears because of the way I was treated I just have to laugh at this.

    Some people......

Ah yes, but not the one from the OP abusing the good people of Glasgow ;)

Good job it didn't refer to Muslims in Glasgow or it would have been gone in a flash.

OP - I've just had a read through some of your previous posts on other threads and can see you have been struggling for a while. I think it is time you faced the reality of your situation as I don't believe you have fully opened your eyes up until now.

Are you really in a position to keep running the house? You have no overdraft left, some credit card debts, no other way of borrowing (which may be a blessing in disguise) and no liquid assets. You need to seek professional help and advice on how to manage your debts. Is this really how you want to live?

    I wish you well.
