You can make soup from potato skins? But I never have any left when I've roasted them with a bit of cheese and served them with a sweet chilli dip! :rotfl:

It was when I got leftover skins because I baked them in the microwave to save on washing up (made cheesy mashed potato pie)
I am glad people think it was a good idea, I was criticised at the time. I will post the recipe later on a new thread;)

That sounds bad if you read it the wrong way, :eek: I mean he could speak to kids who arent obsessed with the latest this that and the other and actually like real food;)

She might kill me for this, but I think Ticklemouse is a great example of Old Style. She's a superwoman without knowing she's a superwoman Hope you don't mind, TM

She looks after a big house, hubby, 2 extremely lively kids (plus half the neighbourhood's kids, as it happens!) and a fledgling business. From the state of her house you'd think she had no children, a regular cleaner, and two substantial incomes, but it's all done on hubby's teaching salary and a lot of extremely astute planning. I have stayed with her and the hospitality is second to none!

She's also the kind of person who everybody warms to, and manages to combine OS with being perfectly normal and quite modern and trendy (though I'm sure she'd disagree!) therefore might well be perfect for this.

ooh, how exciting, come on Queenie and Ticklemouse(and others, who i cant think of right now!,) you must volunteer!

I am sure there are loads more really good OS'ers. I wish I could set a good example but I am more of a 'WISH I could always be an Old styler' rather than always putting it into practise.

Saying that, I too wouldn't be without my BM and my new SC.

Martin, please let us know who you pick from the volunteers so we can hear them on the radio and watch them on the tele. Thanks!
