I'm quite lucky with my 3 too....
2 of them sleep at the bottom of the bed all night, the other on a blanket on the floor (she's not very sociable).
my one boy only come for his cuddles when my alarm clock goes off and not before, and the other 2 just sit and wait at the top of the stairs.
they get fed pouches twice a day (they only eat half a pouch each, even if I put more down it gets left), and a bowlful of biscuits available all the time0 -
One of mine climbs onto your chest, shouts in your face, claws at your nose and if all else fails, starts purring loudly and dribbles right onto your lips.
He doesn't do it to me, though.
Not due to any good training - but apparently I sweep him onto the floor with a ninja-like flick of the arm when still in mid snore.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

My boy wakes me up (usually by the catbumface method) when dawn breaks, but in winter I get a lie in.0

Just hope it's not the catbumfartinface method...0 -
my cat was always good and she wouldn't bother me until she knew i was awake. These days i'm awake before she is!!Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!

one of our cats used to scratch at the door pretty much most of the night (!!!!!) and no matter what you did, he would not stop. turned it out he was hungry but only associated food with one of us feeding him, so wouldnt eat food unless he saw us put it down for him. took a while but we started using the timed cat bowls throughout the day and night so he never saw us feed him and started to associate the cat bowls with the food rather then us! now he is totally fine, we can feed him during the day no probs but at night put food in the bowls at regular intervals and no more scratching!
my OH works early mornings and lets the cats into the bedroom when he goes - one of them basically scratches your face or head until you stroke him

and getting earlier as the suns coming out earlier!
We've had to buy blackout blinds for our bedroom, bathroom and landing windows - for as soon as the sun is out our Annie wants to be up and out - now she sleeps until the alarm goes off

Mine are 5am alarm clocks too... I thought that maybe the 13 year old would have stopped doing that by now but no such luck...probably has something to do with the wildlife waking up *out there*. They just go mad running after each other for about 10 minutes then come back to sleep on the bed as if nothing had happened and won't move off until early afternoon - nothing to do with being hungry as they get their wet food early evening and I leave some dry out for them overnight. Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0

The twins have been taking it in turns to be up all night so the smug cat gets fed - and sleeps in my bed while i am up at night with a screaming child....
To be fair he does come and 'check' on me every hour or so.. i am pretty sure he is just rubbing it in
