Bought Laptop from currys-not working!

Thanks for the advice, the reason I thought it was a refurb was when I opened it, there was no instruction manual or booklet, the box did not state which model or anything and it was only a sticker on the actual laptop. Then when I looked the model up it stated it was a refurb. I am going in with it today, I just wanted to see if anyone knew what rights i had to a refund or exchange, bearing in mind I have now used the machine. thanks.
The fact that there is no user guide and you were sold a 'refurb' possibly falsely, you would have every right to a refund,as you have been mis sold.
That aside the machine has failed well within a reasonable time period, refurb or not
Dont let them fob you off with a credit note either!
Let us know how you got onnever put off buying a bargain today,it may be gone tomorrow0
