...and if mumblings and rumblings about npower are true it is even worse for Ebico. Their £95 per year discount regardless of consumption makes them the only real alternative to Ebico left - once they blow up or at least shift the discount from the standing charge to be only pro rata usage...0

It is Ofgem's decision to ban a standard tariff structure that can be used by all customers with different usage levels and replace it by a system that does not provide for customers with a low consumption that is the issue. Killing suppliers and ruining them is not the issue - it is the brutal restriction on availability of a choice for a particular group of customers that is the problem.As much as I try I find it hard to have sympathy with ANY utility company.0
