What do solicitors do for their money anyway?
You should do that as well. How hard can it be?
Don't forget to do your own removals as well.

Get yourself a new PAYG mobile phone.... only use that phone for advertising/selling your house, for two reasons:
- when that phone rings, you'll know it's somebody who wants to talk about your house and you can put on your best telephone voice, quickly swallow your mouthful of tea and be prepared to talk about houses with them for 20 minutes. Even at 2am, when they think they'll be leaving a message on an answerphone, you'll know somebody's interested in the house and (naked) you can grab that phone and put on your best telephone voice. Cancel all outings to pubs and noisy places, in case the phone rings. Don't go shopping alone, ever, in case you're at the till and the stuff's coming at you fast and the phone rings. Showering's tricky too, best set your alarm for 5am and have a quick shower then, so you don't miss a call.
- once you've found a buyer and sold the house, you can bin the PAYG number so they don't phone you for the next 3 years asking daft questions.0 -
