Avast update warning

haha, its a warning if someone gets a bum update like I did and how I fixed it myself.

I like avast, always served me well. Since my 10 minute problem my computer is running as fast as aways with the lastest Avast running..

I am informing the masses that if they get the same problem this is how I fixed it and get back to loving Avast as aways.

I've just switched the PC on this morning and it's unusable - I removed Avast in safe mode and it's sorted.

Re installed Avast again and it's the same problem back.

I'm running XP.

I think I'll look for an earlier version too.

Some of the problems people are having are attributed to the Behavior Shield, maybe try installing the latest version without it? (Custom Install)

Upgraded mine (on XP) last night all fine and dandy as usual.
